Near-black full-grain leather and cognac leather patches: both are the same dense, tight-grained full-grain material throughout. The near-black body stays forgiving of grease and smoke between wipes; the cognac patches develop a richer amber tone with regular conditioning, deepening the two-tone contrast over time.
