The zipper chest pocket is wide enough for a layout sheet, a pack of chalk sticks, or the small tools you reach for most. Below the bib, a wide horizontal band carries six individual vertical tool slots, each sized for a punch, scriber, drift, or chisel to stand upright and separate. Chest-to-mid-thigh coverage in mahogany full-grain leather protects the front of the body through the full range of forge work: hammer swings, quench cycles, stock handling, and time spent close to the fire.
