A good leather bartender apron, or cocktail apron, pulls double duty. It keeps you looking sharp through a rammed service and keeps your tools right where your hands go for them. Ours are cut from 100% full-grain cowhide with a smooth surface that wipes clean when you splash it and looks better the more you wear it. A bit of citrus, a bit of syrup, a bit of patina, and it starts to feel like yours. We've made leather bartender aprons for US bartenders, baristas, mixologists and servers since 2017.

Built for the rail

Everything behind a bar gets splashed at some point. The smooth full-grain surface on our leather bartender aprons means spills bead up and wipe off in a second instead of soaking in like they do on cloth. Wine, bitters, syrup, it shrugs them off. Leather will pick up a patina over time, which is the trade for a hide that lasts years, but a quick wipe keeps it looking sharp from prep through to last call.

Pockets where your hands go

We set the pockets up around the way bartenders actually move. There's a chest panel up top and dual waist pockets for a jigger, strainer, pens and your phone, so this is a bar apron with pockets you can actually use mid-rush. The adjustable leather straps use solid brass fittings, so they hold their setting all shift.

Fit for a long shift

Bar shifts are long and you're on your feet for all of them. Our leather bartender aprons come in Small through 2XL with adjustable straps, so you set the fit once and forget about it. Every product page shows the exact pockets, colour and sizing, plus real customer reviews from other bartenders. That same hard-wearing, stain-resistant build is why stylists like our leather barber aprons too, and plenty of weekend hosts grab a leather BBQ apron for the patio.

Leather or cloth behind the bar?

A cloth apron goes in the wash after every shift and wears out in a season. A leather one wipes clean, skips the laundry and lasts for years, so you buy once instead of replacing it again and again. It also just looks the part in a serious cocktail room.

Caring for your leather bartender apron

Wipe up spills when they happen, let it air-dry and work in some conditioner every so often. That's the whole routine. No laundry, no fraying hems.

Bartender apron questions

Is leather practical behind a bar?

Really practical. A leather bartender apron wipes clean, shrugs off stains better than cloth, and lasts for years instead of a season.

Will spills stain it?

The full-grain surface holds off most bar spills. Wipe them up when they land and the apron just ends up with a richer patina.

Are there enough pockets for my tools?

Yes. A chest panel plus dual waist pockets for a jigger, strainer, pens and your phone.

Do you offer custom or personalised aprons?

Our aprons ship as you see them on the product page. We don't currently offer engraving or embroidery, but the full-grain leather takes on its own character as you wear it.

What sizes do you offer?

Small through 2XL, with adjustable brass-fitted straps.

How do I clean it?

Wipe it with a damp cloth, let it air-dry and condition it now and then. Don't soak it or put it in the wash.
