The Leathron Lifetime Guarantee

We build every Leathron apron from full-grain leather to survive years of real work, and we stand behind each one for as long as you own it. Here is exactly what that promise covers, so you know where you stand before and after you buy.
The promise
- Lifetime craftsmanship guarantee. If your apron fails because of a defect in materials or workmanship under normal use, we will repair or replace it, with no time limit, for the original owner.
- 30-day satisfaction returns. If you change your mind, return the apron unused and in its original condition within 30 days of delivery for a refund.
- We will always try to make it right. If something falls outside these terms, contact us anyway. We look at every case fairly and on its own merits.
What is covered
Genuine defects under normal use, for as long as you own the apron: leather that splits or cracks abnormally, stitching that comes apart, or hardware such as buckles, rivets, or hooks that fails. If we made it wrong, we put it right with a repair or a replacement.
What is not covered
A leather work apron is meant to be used hard, so the honest marks of work are not faults. The guarantee does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear, scuffs, scratches, softening, darkening, and the natural patina that leather develops over time.
- Damage from misuse, accidents, neglect, or not following the care instructions, including machine washing, soaking, or harsh chemicals.
- Damage from use beyond the apron’s purpose. Our aprons are spark and heat resistant, not fireproof, so burn-through or damage from direct or prolonged flame is not a defect.
- Damage from alterations, customizations, or repairs carried out by anyone other than Leathron.
- Aprons bought secondhand, resold, or purchased anywhere other than leathron.com.
- Loss, theft, and ordinary aging.
How returns and refunds work
- Change-of-mind returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery, on aprons that are unused and in their original condition. Refunds go to your original payment method once we receive and inspect the apron.
- Defect claims are resolved by repair or replacement. Where a repair or replacement is not possible, we may offer a refund at our discretion.
- We choose the appropriate remedy (repair, replacement, or refund) based on the apron and the situation, and we provide one remedy per item per claim.
- All claims require proof of purchase from leathron.com and apply to the original purchaser only. The guarantee is non-transferable and does not cover resale.
Fair use
This guarantee is offered in good faith for people who use our aprons as intended. To keep it fair for everyone, we may ask for your order number and clear photos to assess a claim, and we reserve the right to inspect a returned apron and to decline claims that show misuse, abuse, or fraud, or that are excessive or repeated. We may update these terms for future orders. Nothing here limits the statutory consumer rights you already have by law.
